I am so sorry for the lack of posts…I have had AP testing the past two weeks and now that those are over I am pretty much done with school so I will be posting A LOT MORE!

I saw GATSBY last Sunday with my mom for Mother's Day and I LOVED it! The movie was amazing and so is the soundtrack. If anyone has the soundtrack I would love it if you send it to me! I will send you any cd/mix of songs in return…pretty pretty please…anyways...

The Day Has Finally Come!

Tomorrow will be the BEST DAY EVER….well kinda

GATSBY COMES OUT!

I have been so excited to see Gatsby since FOREVER! I feel like I have seen the trailer 1000000 times more this week and the suspense has been killing me! 

Sadly I can't go see it tomorrow because I have other plans tomorrow night, but still I AM SO EXCITED.

Sorry this post is really short. I have an AP test tomorrow that I should probably study for. My last AP test is next Wednesday and I get to exempt almost all of my finals so I should definitely be posting more in a couple of weeks.

Coral and Mint

Lately on Pinterest a lot of the pins I have seen (and repinned haha) have been coral and mint outfits. I love this color combination so much and think it is so cute for summer! A mint dress with a coral necklace (or vice versa) or a coral top with some mint shorts and accessories would make perfect outfits for summer.

I'm definitely going to find ways to sport this color combo this summer! Whether it be at the beach, just hanging around, or a nice evening out there are countless ways to incorporate these colors in your wardrobe. All it takes is one simple accessory to be added!

Friday Favorites

I have been spending a lot of time on Pinterest this week! We had state testing all week so no homework and lacrosse is finally over so no practice, so naturally I have spent hours upon hours on Pinterest.

One class period we had a free day and I spent the whole class reorganizing my pins. It was actually really nice. I deleted unnecessary boards, renamed boards, deleted extra pins, moved things around, etc.

Here are a few of my favorite things from Pinterest lately (one from each of a few of my boards)

Acceptance

I have always been so used to getting things my way. I wouldn't necessarily say they were handed to me on a silver plate, I definitely work hard for everything, but I have always had things go my way. 

Finally tonight something happened where I didn't get my way. This got me thinking and as I learned to accept it I thought I would write a post to encourage others because this is bound to happen to everyone multiple times in their lives.

Even though I say that this thing didn't go my way, everything truly does go my way. It may not be what I wanted to happen. I may not see the benefit, but God has made it happen for a reason and therefore it is going my way at all times. His plan for us isn't meant to hurt us, but to build us up and guide us on the right path. He puts us through rough times so we can learn from them and build ourselves. As you've probably heard before, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

We need to trust in the Lord and seek his presence. 

Here are some Bible verses that relate to this topic and will hopefully cheer you up. I know these verses have helped me get through this and have helped me accept this.

 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, "You are my God!" Psalm 31:14

Marley Lilly Bathing Suits…Yay or Nay?

First of all I would like to apologize for the lack of posts recently. The grading period just ended (which means only one more 6 weeks left, yay!) so I had a lot of tests and a lot of homework. I also am in lacrosse playoffs, we are in the semifinals so I have been caught up in practicing ALL WEEK EVERY WEEK. And lastly I have been working and I just honestly don't have time to waste on the computer as sad as this is.

Second of all if you have any posts you want me to do please comment below! I need ideas and want y'all to like what I post!

Now for the actual post…

So I was going to buy a Marley Lilly bathing suit. I have wanted one for a long time and finally decided to just do it. I was going to get the navy bandeau and before I ordered it my mom talked me out of it. She is kind of skeptical about buying certain things online without trying them on. She wasn't sure if it was a cheapy bathing suit that I would be overpaying for and didn't know if it would fit properly.

Because of this I put ordering it on hold and decided to get some feedback. If any of my lovely readers have purchased a bathing suit from Marley Lilly a) Is it worth the price? b) How does it fit? c) Do you recommend it for me?

PLEASE COMMENT BELOW IF YOU HAVE ONE! I would really appreciate some feedback before I actually buy one.
